The terms for using this website and the free readiness scan. Paid work is governed by the written scope you agree before it starts, which takes precedence over anything here.

The free readiness scan
The scan is provided free and as-is. It reads an application from the outside, the way any visitor could, and reports what it can see.
Two things follow from that, and we would rather say them plainly than bury them:
- It is not exhaustive. It cannot see your server code, your private repository, or anything behind a login. A clean scan is not a statement that your application is secure.
- It can be wrong in both directions. Automated checks produce false positives and miss things. The score is a summary indicator, not a certification, and nothing about it should be presented to a third party as an assurance.
By running a scan you confirm that you own the application or have permission from its owner to have it scanned. Scanning systems you have no right to scan may be unlawful where you are, and you are responsible for that, not us.
Paid work
Prices shown on this site are indicative starting points, not offers. Any estimate produced by the scan is an estimate from limited information — it is not a quote and it does not bind either of us.
Work begins only after a written scope setting out the deliverables, the price and the timeline, agreed by both sides. That document governs the engagement. If the scope changes, we agree the change in writing before it is done.
Payment is held through our payment provider and released to the engineer once you approve the agreed deliverables.
What we do and do not promise
We commit to completing the deliverables in your agreed scope with reasonable skill and care.
We do not warrant that your application will be free of vulnerabilities, that it will not suffer an incident, or that it is “secure” in any absolute sense. No one can honestly promise that about software that continues to change. Security is an ongoing practice, and work we complete reflects the application as it was at that time.
Our liability for a piece of work is limited to the fees you paid for that work, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Your code and your data
Your application, your code and your data remain yours. Where we write code for you under an agreed scope, it is yours on payment. We treat what we see as confidential, and access granted for a project is scoped to that project and ends with it.
Using this site
Do not use the scan to attack, overload, or probe systems you do not control. We rate-limit it and will block abuse. The written content on this site is ours; you are welcome to quote it with attribution.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, and disputes go to the competent Slovak courts, unless your written scope says otherwise.
